I just noticed that in the pics of JJ she has a HUGE bruise that is finally going away (imagine that) but it looks awful! Soooo, for those wondering – she took a spill on my parent’s kitchen floor after some wild spinning dancing.  Just in case….just in case…. you were wondering!

Soooooooo, Jillian does this sorta thing all the time.  She is always trying to fit herself in the sitting position into any small object with or without sides on it.  This is how she spent many minutes playing this afternoon.  The “apple basket” is where we store much of her pretend foods fromher play kitchen.  She dumped it out and then walked around the house sitting in it in different locations.  It’s so funny, especially when she tries soo hard to fit into super small spaces! I am always worried she is going to fit down the super small cat door to the basement! Silly girl!

We did have JJ’s ortho appointment today and it went very well.  While she shows signs of being very flexible (see above) they don’t think that it’s anything that would require intervention.  They are going to see her again in 6 months and we’ll see how things are looking then.  We all are walking a little taller today!

Ian has been having great days at school and his teacher stopped me in the hallway today to mention it! It’s always nice to get positive feedback especially when it concerns good behavior at school! Can’t get enough of that!  Enjoy the pics of Ian’s “easy bake” cookies!  Gotta love spending 30 minutes making 5 bite size cookies that taste like crap  a dream!

My boys!

My boys!

We are planning a playdate this weekend with a family with 3 boys from Jim’s work  and that’s about it since it’s sooooo cold outside that we can’t even do winter activities!

Sweet Baby J

Sweet Baby J

Well, I am going to try to post weekly – just a recap of our week and random thoughts running through my head mostly.  So, this week was pretty uneventful.  Although, we did have to bring J into the MD on Friday am because her left foot is really turned inward when she is walking – it looks as though her toes are pointing towards the arch of her right foot and she was walking on the outside side of her left foot.  No pain or trouble getting around at all – but strange.  Our MD did not think too much of it – stated some of it was normal but did send us on to a specialist for this coming Thursday to be sure.  So, we’ll check it out and hopefully it’s nothing!

We woke up to about 7 inches of the white fluffy stuff outside this morning so Ian and Jim are off to hit the sledding hills with a friend! JJ is sleeping and I am about to try to squeeze in a workout before I hear her calling! I just finished uploading some pics from the Holidays and since we were not blogging then – I’ll post some here!

Always together!

Always together!

I just realized that this post was a little picture heavy on J but promise to capture some more of Ian too! He is at this funny stage where he wants “action pics” and loves those funny silly pics of things like him chewing up food, acting like a nut — you get the idea – “boy pics” — ah hem.

back in action…

Whooooo Hooooo! I am back… after all my complaining that I didn’t have time to blog or upload pics etc… I am missing it.  Yep – I said it “missing it.”  I have no idea how often I will blog but I really feel like it’s a wonderful way to preserve memories of these fun times! I will admit that I am not great at finding time to sit down and scrap or complete baby books soo, this is going to be our “life book” a way to document all things edgar

I am trying to find my way through learning how to use wordpress – hopefully that won’t take too long!

So, thanks for checking in and enjoy.
